Hello, I found this web site while researching for a faith based church that would like someone I know. I do not know how this site works but I am willing to try this site if it will help this person. I know of a person that is in great need. He has been type 2 diabetes since he was 12 years old but recently was told that need a kidney transplantation and Pancreas transplantation. He is currently doing dialay 3 days weeks until he is able to get a donator. He has applied for disability but he was told it will take a while to complete the process and get a check. While going through the process for disability, he has contacted several organizations for rent assistance but they could not help him because he has no current income. This does not make sense to me. If you have income then you do not need them….crazy but true. Most organizations will not help with rent assistance unless you can show income. He was two months behind in his rent but we were able to come up with one month of the two months which kept him off the street for now. His landlord has been working with him but they are requesting the March rent and he must be on time with the April rent. If anyone can help, please let me know. You do not have to give the money to me or him directly but you can give the money to the apartment complex which he live. I do not think this will be a problem with the apartment complex manager since she know about his health problems and he has been a resident at this apartment complex for 3-4 years.
Im not the type of person to have to ask for help but its the last resort I have. I have nothing to lie about, I just had my first baby 2 months ago at the age of 19. I can't ask my parents for help because they have 7 people in there household and they dont have the money to spare they tell me. From the age of 16, I started a restuarant job making 300 dollars every two weeks. Out of an older brother and a older sister, I was the only extra income coming for my parents, forty hrs a week i got to keep 100 dollars that i worked so hard for. I thought if i found a better paying job and moved out with my fiance, that things would be alot easier. Little did i know, i was wrong. I am three months behind on rent and utilities due to my pregnancy. My fiance stays home with our daughter while i work because we cant afford a babysitter. We have tried to get loans, but get turned down due to no credit history. We are trying to make it in this world just like everyone else, just ever now and then you have to ask for help. So I am asking for help now, to get our bills caught up and a way to get out of this apartment and start our life in a real home to raise our daughter. So Please, We really need help!! Thank you
